Asia Pacific leading media Intelligence group Isentia（ASX：ISD）has appointed Thomas Wang as General Manager, Greater China. With his extensive media industry knowledge and cross-country management experience, Thomas will be responsible for managing Isentia’s operations in GC and to drive the business expansion in the region.
Thomas is the former CEO of Havas Media Greater China, and has in-depth knowledge of the local market. Previous to Havas, he was the Regional Managing Director of Rentokil North Asia. He comes with experience in senior management positions, business development and acquisition responsibilities in GC, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and the Philippines. During his more than 20 years in advertising and business account management - with clients like Nestle, General Motors and Coca-Cola - he has collaborated with international communication groups like McCann-Erickson of Interpublic and Carat of Aegis plc.
With more than 220 staff, Isentia Greater China has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and data collection and processing centers in cities such as Chong Qing, Da Lian and Guang Zhou. One of Thomas’ primary responsibilities is integrating Isentia’s data products, traditional and social media monitoring services, and enhancing Insights and media analysis service offerings across the consumer insight and content marketing sectors. Thomas reports to Asia CEO David Liu.

We have seen growth has been delivered across all business units, especially the 27% increase in value added services revenue. China is one of the critical markets for Isentia, Thomas’ extensive industry knowledge in Media and Data Analysis and management experiences are going to help us accelerate the business development, and further enhance our market position in the Greater China area.
